The one voice we need to hear is The Voice of God today. So many never learn how to hear God's Voice they are connected to everyone and everything but are never in contact with God. People can not make it a day without facebook but yet they never open His Book. People can not make it day without there cell phone but go for days without prayer. They must not miss the news or the weather forecast but can go weeks without checking in with heaven. No wonder our lives are so out of control when we never take time to talk to God and especially take time to hear from God.
In 1936 a radio broadcast was transmitted to America from England. Just before the voice of King Edward VIII was to be heard, someone stumbled over a wire in the control room of WJZ (now WABC, New York) and snapped the only line of communication between the two great countries. The engineers were frantic. Then, with only a few moments remaining before airtime a quick-thinking apprentice grasped the two broken ends of the wire and bridged the gap. Seconds later the King addressed the nation. In a real sense, his words were being transmitted through the body of that man! Proverbs 8:34 Proverbs 8:34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors
What a powerful little word IF any man hear my voice, God is looking for a man that can hear him in this world. Stillness is the door through which one must pass to hear God’s voice. We can not hear God’s voice with our thoughts ramblings and our minds distracted . Often when we come before God it’s difficult to still our minds – the mind just wants to run from one thing to the next carrying us along.

Rev 3:19-20 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. KJV

And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice."
