Understanding the Godhead

UNDERSTANDING THE GODHEAD

What is the Godhead well the word Godhead is( Theh ot' ace) in the greek and simple means divine or divinity better understood as Gods nature. Many ministers and teachers have taught that the Godhead can not be understood by our finite minds it is to complex for us to understand. Even though this is somewhat true that it would be impossible for men out of there own intellect to define the awesomeness of the Almighty God. It is possible though if God teaches us about his nature and his person for us to understand the Godhead (Gods nature). Has God explained himself to his creation?

Romans 1:18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Romans 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

So these scriptures teach us that  God has revealed his divine nature and his power to us. God's creation teaches us about his divine nature and his eternal power so that we are without excuse. You may say how does nature teach us of God's divine nature and his eternal power. All one must do is look into the heavens to the stars , the moon, and the sun how can they exist without an all powerful all knowing God?

All that we know has been created in such perfect balance , Our universe God simply spoke out of nothing and suspend it in that nothing for all this years. Look at the human body as David said how wonderfully are we made there is no doubt that we are his workmanship. Not only are we created so amazingly but also individually unique. God is amazing and unique there is none like him.

Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else; [I am] God, and [there is] none like me,  The Jews are Gods chosen people ,chosen  at that time to represent God to the world just as the church is chosen by God today to represent him to the world. The Jews were his witnesses as we are his witnesses
Isaiah 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed,
neither shall there be after me.
Isaiah 43:11 I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour.
Isaiah 43:12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God.

You cannot teach something very well if you do not have a thorough understanding of the subject. It is said often and well that which God calls , He also Equips. Listen to Jesus teach a jewish scribe  Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [is] One LORD:
Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
Mark 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment.
Mark 12:31 And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Mark 12:32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:
Mark 12:33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love [his] neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. Mark 12:34 And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him [any question].

Did you see that Jesus taught God's divine nature as God being One and the scribe acknowledge it as Truth. Listen to Christ teaches us about the Godhead.
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. ( here are few more text to read and understand)
Isaiah 44:8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared [it]? ye [are] even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, [there is] no God; I know not [any].                                         (KJV)
Isaiah 45:5 I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else, [there is] no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
Isaiah 45:6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that [there is] none beside me. I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else.
Isaiah 45:14 Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, [saying], Surely God [is] in thee; and [there is] none else, [there is] no God.
Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself

(John 1:3,10, Mal. 2:10)that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD; and [there is] none else.

Isaiah 45:21 Tell ye, and bring [them] near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? [who] hath told it from that time? [have] not I the LORD? and [there is] no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; [there is] none beside me.
Isaiah 45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else.

Do you see that over and over there is a unique quality about our God he is One , not many but One. Many teach that God is triune or a plurality of persons, that his divine nature is a Trinity ,three distinct personalities but that is not taught in the Holy scriptures maybe this is why many say they cannot  thoroughly understand the Godhead? Simply because they will not accept what God has simply already explained to them about himself. That He is ONE and has manifested his self in one ,Christ Jesus our LORD!

Colossians 2:9 For in him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:                                                                 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God
(God is a spirit John 4:24)was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Hebrews 1:3 Who (Jesus)being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;     If you want to see the invisible God all you have to do is look at Jesus he is the invisible God made visible!

Colossians 1:15 Who (Jesus)is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
( The title Father explains God as our creator ,We have already learned that God is a Spirit, God as Spirit could not be seen but God clothed in the flesh could  be seen. When Jesus speaks of being one with or the Father in me he is speaking of the spirit ,dwelling in him fully. Jesus was a man but in him dwelled Almighty God. Jesus was not another God but the true and living God just not in the same form not as Spirit only but now Spirit clothed in Flesh so that we could finally see him that had created us!)
John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
John 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
John 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works 'sake.

HOW DOES JESUS SEE THE END TIME !

All we can see is the trouble of our age , The world as we know it is simple unraveling bit by bit, Nations are crumpling all around us, there is a civil unrest in all the regions of the world. Wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes and floods, sicknesses, famines and natural disaster's are so common today that many of these never make the news.

We are in troubled times like it or not! Our view of the End of this Age is dark and violent ,we have heard for generations of the perplexity of these times. We look on as frighten children wondering what will happen next as if we are starring in a sci-fi thriller. The truth is we really don't know what we are facing it is a mystery of sorts because we have never experienced times like these . Yet we do have the bible and the prophecies concerning these events but there are so many views on the End time so many claims of  understanding the times!

Many are looking for answers and don't know where or who to ask, But have you ever thought how HOW DOES JESUS SEE THE END TIME ! There must be a Joy in his heart that his church is soon coming home! That in just a little while all, the planning for thousands of years will come to pass. That his sacrifice that was given over two thousand years ago will soon bring the greatest harvest of souls into his glorious kingdom!

We are looking on with such Anxiety but I believe He is looking on Anxiously. Have you ever prepared a grand meal for guest that you loved that you haven't seen in a good while ? There is such an excitement and a anticipation.

You find yourself sitting on pins and needles waiting on the door bell to ring. We may be apprehensive of what all we will have to face, but I believe Christ is sitting there on that white horse just looking down seeing the hands of time about to strike midnight so beside himself because he knows soon and very soon he will be with the ones that love him
!!!LOOK UP CHURCH!!!!!!

IN CRITICAL CARE

IN CRITICAL CARE : The Other Half of

Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all [men], and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:                                   1.Holiness ( hag-ee-as-mos) means sanctified, in the state of purity :  (KJV)

Romans 6:19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

1 Thessalonians 4:7  For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.                                                                                  The same greek word is used in

1 Thessalonians 4:3 hag-ee-as-mos For this is the will of God, [even] your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
 1 Thessalonians 4:4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor;
HAGEEASMOS ROOTS FROM THE WORD HAGEOS  WHERE WE GET THE WORD SAINT                                   (KJV)

Jude 1:3 and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Holy ones

 2. The Hageeasmos  (or holiness) in
Hebrew 12:14 is teaching ME to be HOLY ,to be a SANCTIFIED VESSEL, it is personal it is between me and my God! Not you, not the world but God! It is his gift to me and my gratitude and devotion to him!! BACKSLIDERS CHANGE AS SOON AS THEY LEAVE!! CAUSE THEY DO THESE THINGS FOR PASTOR AND CHURCH ETC.

Can I encourage you that we need our own personal convictions concerning the issues facing our culture!!! Abraham, Jacob, David , Daniel etc. MAKE THE DOCTRINE AND TEACHINGS PERSONAL!!!! DON'T LET IT BE A MERE CHURCH CUSTOM BUT ATTACH IT TO YOURSELF AND YOURSELF TO IT !!!!!

Psalms 76:11 Vow, and pay unto the Lord your God:let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared

BUT IF I MAY I WANT TO PREACH THE OTHER SIDE OF
HEB 12:14 THE FIRST HALF THAT WE SELDOM HEAR! FOLLOW PEACE WITH ALL MEN FOR WITHOUT WHICH NO MAN SHALL SEE THE LORD!!!   WE ARE A DIVIDED HOUSE TODAY OUR HOMES,  OUR CHURCH AND OUR COUNTRY WE DON'T AGREE ON ANYTHING!! satan has achieved in dividing us over everything! look what Paul says to the Church!

1 Corinthians 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and [that] there be no divisions among you; but [that] ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Ephesians 4:1-3 1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness (humbleness of mind)and meekness (quiet in spirit), with long suffering , forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

2 Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Colossians 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also [do] ye.
Colossians 3:14 And above all these things [put on] charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

1 Thessalonians 5:13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. [And] be at peace among yourselves.

James 3:17But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
James 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Romans 14:18 For he that in these things serveth Christ [is] acceptable to God, and approved of men. Romans 14:19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
1 Corinthians 7:15 but God hath called us to peace.

Mark 9:50 Salt [is] good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

Matthew 5:9 Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.                                                         Christ taught us how to and how not to judge! Listen, (KJV)

Luke 6:39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?

(KJV) Luke 6:41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Luke 6:42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.                                                                                   WE  ARE TO JUDGE OURSELVES FIRST,  (KJV)

Romans 2:1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
(KJV) Romans 2:2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
(KJV) Romans 2:3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
(KJV) Romans 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?                                                                   WE ARE TO JUDGE OURSELVES WITH SCRUTINY SEARCH OUR HEARTS BUT WE CAN NOT SEARCH OTHER MENS HEARTS ONLY GOD CAN KNOW THE HEART. BUT WE WE ARE NOT TO BE NAIVE EITHER BUT CALLED TO JUDGE WITH LOVE AND MERCY! (KJV)

Luke 6:36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. JUDGE WITH LOVE AND A SPIRIT TO HELP AND NOT JUST TO MERELY CRITICIZE!
(KJV) Luke 6:37  Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: THIS HOW YOU JUDGE WITHOUT CONDEMNATION BUT WITH FORGIVENESS! ARE YOU IN CRITICAL CONDITION?

 חֶבְרוֹןמַמְרֵא STRENGTH & FELLOWSHIP

Genesis 13:14 And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him,

From the very beginning of scripture we can see that God expects there to be a division between what belongs to him and that which belongs to the world. As children of God we need to learn from the examples set before us. God set distinction between good and evil and clean and unclean. Adam was told of what trees he could eat of and what tree he could not. Noah brought 7 times more of the clean animals than the unclean. Abraham was called to leave his land and his people and as we read here God did not make promises about the land until Abraham separated finally from his nephew Lot.
God has always demanded separation from the world. Paul writes in 2 Cor. 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

2 Cor. 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

2 Cor. 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

2 Cor. 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

2 Cor. 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

2 Cor. 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Deut. 22:10 Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together. The reason you were not to plow with an ox and a donkey togather is because a ox is clean and a donkey is not clean . We see that God waited on Abraham to remove himself from his entire people before he would reveal the promise of the land.

Gen. 13:14  And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:

Gen. 13:15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.

Gen. 13:16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.

Gen. 13:17 Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.

Gen. 13:18 Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the Lord.  Mamre = "strength" or "fatness"and Hebron = "association" Strength & Fellowship this is where Abraham dwelt after he separated from Lot amazing!

1Jn 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1Jn 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
If we want this Strong Fellowship with God we will have to Separate from this world and it's things.

A Force to be Reckoned with.

Pro 31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies

Did you know that the Hebrew word used for "virtuous" in Proverbs 31:10 is "khah'-yil"?

Khah'-yil means: strength, might, efficiency, a force (like an army). Interesting, isn't it? That the first thing that's mentioned about the Proverbs 31 woman is that she is strong, she is efficient, she is a force.

"The woman described here is of priceless value. She has physical strength, mental strength, moral strength and spiritual strength. Above all she loves God deeply and reverently. She is characterized in this section six ways, and I'll point them out to you as we just look together at the Scripture...six ways.

Her character as a wife, her devotion as a homemaker, her generosity as a neighbor, her influence as a teacher, her effectiveness as a mother and her excellence as a person...the sum of all of that makes the excellent wife. And I might add that this is no woman in particular but this is the woman that every woman should seek to emulate. She is rare, look at verse 10, an excellent wife...by the way, the word virtuous in Hebrew means force, a woman of force, a woman of substance, a woman of strength would be another way to characterize her.

It's excellent in the sense of her strength spiritually, morally, mentally, physically. She is a woman of substances. She is a woman who has made a dent in society. She is one who makes a difference. There's a force about her life. This kind of wife, he says, who can find? Very rare. Hard to find this kind of woman."

A force to be reckoned with in the life of her husband and children, her church and community. A force for the devil to reckon with when she prays, all hell shakes when mothers bend there knees and pray! Women of force have influences on there husbands and children and help form them into what God wants them to be. Ladies don't abuse this virtue but use it for Gods glory mold and shape your house into a christian home.

1Pe 3:1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;

1Co 7:16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband

1Co 7:13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.

1Co 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

Angels even like Vidalia Onions !

Num 11:5 AND THE ONIONS

Onions are difficult for archaeologists to track because they are too small and their tissues leave little, if any, trace. Some food historians place the earliest onion cultivation at the edges of the Mediterranean as long ago as 5,000 years. Others believe that onions originated in central Asia. The National Onion Association says onions were first grown in Iran and Pakistan. It's difficult to say in which area onions originated as several hundred varieties of onions grow wild in temperate climates all around the world.

The Egyptians left onions in their tombs about 3,500 years ago. In fact, the mummy of King Ramses IV, who died in 1160 B.C., had small onions in the eye sockets, probably because they had some spiritual significance and because they replicated a real eyeball. Paintings of onions appear on the inner walls of the pyramids of Unas (c. 2423 B.C.) and Pepi II (c.2200 B.C.), and in tombs of both the Old Kingdom and the New Kingdom.

The Roman satirist Juvenal wrote of the Egyptians:

How Egypt, mad with superstition grown,
Makes gods of monsters but too well is known.
'Tis mortal sin an Onion to devour,
Each clove of garlic hath a sacred power,
Religious nation sure, and best abodes,
When every garden is o'errun with gods!

Many early documents tell of onion cultivation and use. There is evidence that the Sumerians were growing onions as early as 2500 B.C. The great food historian, Waverly Root, cites a Sumerian text dated to about 2400 B.C. that tells of someone plowing of the city governor's onion plot.

Three different varieties of alliums (onions) are mentioned to have been eaten by the Israelites in the Biblical book Numbers; leeks,  onions and garlic.

The Vidalia Onion Story takes root in Toombs County, Georgia over 60 years ago, when a farmer by the name of Moses Coleman discovered in the late spring of 1931 the onions he had planted were not hot, as he expected. They were sweet!

In the 1940's, the State of Georgia built a Farmer's Market in Vidalia, and because the small town was at the juncture of some of South Georgia's most widely traveled highways, the market had a thriving tourist business. Word began to spread about "those Vidalia onions". Consumers, then, gave the onions their famous name. Reorders were made, and "Vidalia Onions" began appearing on the shelves of Piggly Wiggly and A & P grocery stores. Through the 1950s and 60s, production grew at a slow but steady pace, reaching some 600 total acres by the mid 1970s. At that point, a push was made for Vidalia Onions to be distributed throughout the nation. In 1986, Georgia's state legislature passed legislation giving the Vidalia Onion legal status and defining the 20-county production area. The Vidalia Onion was named Georgia's Official State Vegetable by the state legislature in 1990. Vidalia onions are unsurpassed for sweetness when they mature in the spring. The fields surrounding Vidalia and Glennville in Georgia produce onions from granex seed that are so sweet one can "eat them like apples"

So sweet I believe even angels must like Vidalia Onions .
You see I was running a tent revival in North Ga. and expenses were running high and the offerings were running very low so I decided to try to sell some onions during the day and invite people to meeting well as often times onions were not selling good and service were very hard so I shut myself in to pray for the meetings and tried to forgot about the finances and those onions . Early one morning I desperately needed to pray but also I needed to raise funds so I headed off to town to peddle those onions and hurry back for prayer. I pulled up and parked and set the onions out hung the signs and set down in my truck and all of sudden I looked and there was a big white truck and the fellow asked me if those onions were those sweet onions and I said yes sir , to my amazement he said I want them all, all 300lbs. of onions ?  He paid me top dollar and left . I set there and just wept over those sweet onions and thought Lord even angels like Vidilia Onions!

DAVID THE CAVE MAN

No man cared for my soul.

1Sa 22:1David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam
Psa 142
Maschil of David; A Prayer when he was in the cave. I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.
I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble. When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.
I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.
I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.
Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.
Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.
We as the children of God must be willing to be broken to be set aside in solitude for fasting and prayer, to seek the face of God. People who can not handle being lonely ,rejected by there peers, separate from loved ones will never be able to sense there deep need for God. It is in those times of loneliness when we as men come face to face with Jesus! Our hearts are exposed are weaknesses brought into the light all are fears and doubts, the very intent of our hearts are weight in the balances. Motivates are tried choices are put to the test. We simply are Raked over the Coals by God. Times like this are when we check ourselves not by comparing to weaker brothers but by the very Words of Christ. Seeing if I am who I say that I am? Lord that hurts .Sometimes we must become cave men like David and Elijah so we can know for ourselves where our true allegiances lies either with Christ or ourselves or others .
I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.
I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

Holiness is Separation From The World

Holiness is Separation From The World

Holiness is Separation from the world and not a list of do’s and don’ts.
“Come out from among them
And be separate, says The Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.
I will be a Father to you
And you shall be my sons and daughers,
Says The Lord Almighty.”
(2 Corinthians 7:17-18)

Separate:to set apart; disconnect; dissociate
disassociate:to sever the association of (oneself); separate
disconnect:to sever or interrupt the connection of or between; detach
“Adulterers and adulteresses!

Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” (James 4:4)
Believers and professed believers of Jesus Christ. Do you think this is a spiritual game we are playing with The Lord of Glory? Really, we play dress up and go to “church.”
Holiness is no less than Separation from the world.

Our Lord Jesus said,

“He who loves father or mother more than Me is not
worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it."
 (Matthew 10:37-39)

This is some hard teaching. Which could also be said, He who loves this culture more than Me is not worthy of Me. He who loves television more than Me, is not worthy of Me. He who loves religion more than Me, is not worthy of Me.

Some believers and professed believers cling so hard to this world, to it’s ways, to materialism, to all of the modern conveniences of this present age. I am not suggesting that we not have plumbing, but come on, upgrading cell phones and houses, and cars?

God cares nothing of the trinkets of this age. When the Holy Spirit prays it is about eternal things. He would never ask for a bigger house, or a bigger car. He is Passionate, and He leads us into amazing worship. He always wants to intercede for the lost. He is enmeshed with our soul so deeply. He doesn’t care for television. It doesn’t matter how “clean” the show is, The Holy Spirit does not care about television.

What we fail to understand is that The  Spirit has been here for thousands of years, and the believers of the past did not have television, film, or any of the things this culture boasts about. We boast, in our pride and wag our tongues, shake our heads, how advanced we are. We have fallen for mere trinkets, for emptiness, and a superficial joy ride with the world. But someday, the party will be over, the temporal roller coaster will be over. Then we can ask ourselves?
Did I really know him?

I have been to “churches” and they are so irreverant to God. Believers should be more undignified than they are in worship. You would not even see many “churches” cry out with a loud holy voice to God to have mercy, and to come and be with us. Instead, the faces are solemn, bored, and they sit back waiting to be entertained by the pastor. We were not saved to be entertained. We were saved by The Grace of God, to worship Him, to adore Him, to pray and make intercession for the lost, for other believers, to minister to people, and other believers, to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but make no mistake we were not saved to sit on our backsides, and be entertained.

We were saved to intimately know him. We were not saved to go to “church” an hour a week, or go to a bible study at our leisure. We were saved to intercede, and to labour in the field.
It galls me to see so-called ministers who watch reality shows. It is obvious these are the “hirelings” The Lord speaks of in His Word in John 10. They are hirelings and do not care about the sheep. They allow every ravenous wolf into the fold.

We are presumptious to think we are saved, just because we know some scripture. The Pharisees knew The Scriptures, and yet Our Lord said they were damned to hell. Do we think because we go to “church”, do some work in the “church”, that we are saved? Or, because we know what to say, because we know the way Christians talk.

Our Lord, will say, "Not everyone who says to Me Lord, Lord, will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he does the Will of My Father who is in Heaven.
Many of you will say to Me in that day, “Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your Name, cast out demons in Your Name, and done many wonders in Your Name?”
And I will declare to them, “I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.”
(Matthew 7:21-23)

A Greek word used at the Passover observance.

Afikomen is the only Greek word used at the Passover observance.
The leader or host places the three matzah into the matzo tash. Next he removes the middle matzah from the linen bag to break it half. Half is replaced, and half is carefully wrapped in a linen napkins and hidden away in the house. The children eyes are covered while it is being hidden.

Nugget: Read Mark 15:46. Jesus, our Bread of Life, was wrapped in linen cloth and hidden away in a tomb for three days. Mary, the other women, and the disciples were happy find him again. Alive!

This buried or hidden wafer of unleavened bread now has a name, aphikomen. With dinner at an end, the host notice something is missing–the aphikomen “that which comes last.” Or, it can be called the dessert bread.

The children search now for the missing aphikomen, making a little game of it. The finder will receive a reward for it–a small gift or sum of money.

The host unwraps the aphikomen and distributes small pieces of the hidden wafer to everyone. All partake of it with quiet reverence.

Here is something very interesting. Afikomen is the only Greek word (the common language of Jesus’ day) use at the Passover observance. Everything else is Hebrew. It is the second aorist from of the Greek verb “ikneomai.” This translation is electrifying. It simply means, “I came.” That is the way the word is used in Passover Seders all around the world today. But in the time of Jesus the word was actually phrased slightly differently. The name was not in the past tense. It was phrased in the future as in “I am coming.”

So, essentially, “afikomen” seems to mean, “I came and I am coming!” Hmm, this sure sounds similar to Exodus 3:14. “I AM and I WILL BE!” And now, “I came and I will come again!” Amazing. Thank you LORD!

I WANT TO LIVE IN THE ANOINTING,WALK IN THE ANOINTING AND DIE IN THE ANOINTING AMEN!!!!

1Ch 10:13 So Saul died for his transgression
1 SAM. 10:1 Is it not because the LORD hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance?
To lose God's favor his anointing in your life is a tragedy King Saul had the favor of God but in the end he died an enemy of God.  "Is Saul also among the prophets was the question of the people no one was sure about this man. He was anointed ,they saw him prophesy but he did not live a Godly life.

1Sa 10:9And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.
1Sa 10:10And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them.
1Sa 10:11And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?
Church titles and past experiences does not validate the anointing , Saul had much of that to boast of but he lacked a realtionship with God.

2Sa 1:19The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen!
2Sa 1:20Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.
2Sa 1:21Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed with oil.
1Ch 10:13So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not
What an awful way for someone to end there life that had at one time the blessing of God upon them. Saul died   as though he had not been anointed with oil.  Paul warned us in 1Cor. 9:27  of being a castaway after preaching the gospel.1Cor. 9:27  But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. Friend there is more to serving God than a one time experience and shaking a preachers hand . Christianity is not religion it is a relationship it is you and I living for Christ's glory and pleasure and anything less than this is a lie and it is not Christianity. I WANT TO LIVE IN THE ANOINTING,WALK IN THE ANOINTING AND DIE IN THE ANOINTING AMEN!!!!

Doubts letting your Maybes become Miracles

Ecclesiastes 11:1Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.2Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.3 If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth , there it shall be . 4 He that observeth the wind shall not sow ; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap . 5 As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all. 6 In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper , either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.   Four times the scriptures says thou knowest not ,

doubt verb (used with object)

1. to be uncertain about; consider questionable or unlikely; hesitate to believe. (thou knowest not ,)

1Samuel 14

1 Now it came to pass upon a day, that Jonathan the son of Saul said unto the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over to the Philistines' garrison, that is on the other side. But he told not his father.

2 And Saul tarried in the uttermost part of Gibeah under a pomegranate tree which is in Migron: and the people that were with him were about six hundred men;

3 And Ahiah, the son of Ahitub, Ichabod's brother, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eli, the LORD'S priest in Shiloh, wearing an ephod. And the people knew not that Jonathan was gone.

4 And between the passages, by which Jonathan sought to go over unto the Philistines' garrison, there was a sharp rock on the one side, and a sharp rock on the other side: and the name of the one was Bozez, and the name of the other Seneh.

5 The forefront of the one was situate northward over against Michmash, and the other southward over against Gibeah.

6 And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the LORD will work for us: for there is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.

It may be , sounds like Jonathan was uncertain and questionable like he had DOUBTS , The truth of it all we all have doubts join the club. It is what we do with our doubts that matter A gold Miner just takes his doubts to the dirt. A farmer just plants and waters his doubts until he gets a harvest. What are you doing with your doubts has it turned to fear and mistrust or are you letting your maybes become miracles
